Sunhigh & the Midsummer Solstice

At sunhigh, approximately noon, the solar energy reaches a peak, shifts, and begins to decline. This turning point creates a change in our own energy. Our physical energy drops and often we even feel sleepy in the early afternoon because of the change in the energy. Because the sun is still there, we adjust to the declining energy and tend remain fairly active until evening.

At sunhigh you again set your intention, this time just for the afternoon. You may choose to reinforce your sunrise intention or you may choose a completely different focus. It’s entirely up to you.

This phase of the cycle is most powerful in summer, especially at the summer solstice.
